I got my Droid 2 Global this January. And I knew that Droid 2 and Droid X both have acquired their 2.3 updates last year. I just wonder if there is update for my D2G, or is Droid 2's update suitable for my D2G.
If there is the update for D2G, please yall tell me where can I get it.

The Gingerbread (Android 2.3) has not been determined if it is even coming to these phones yet. It is possible, but no one knows yet.
On my D2G, System>About Phone shows 2.2 (rather than 2.2.1). I had heard that the other models do show 2.2.1, but haven't confirmed that. So I don't know if D2G is really running 2.2 or 2.2.1

This isn't available for the D2G yet though. Also of course on the Droid 2 this isn't an official release, so use at your own risk etc.....
