I just hooked my phone up to my computer to dock it as a disk drive and pretty soon after I did my computer told me it could no longer recognize my phone. After disconnecting from the PC, I can no longer make calls or send/receive texts. I seem to have bars...but could there be a service outage? I have shut down and restarted my phone to no avail. HELP!
The software was "updated".

What happens when you try to make a call out? What zip code are you located in?
