Issues with new Droid 2

It's week 1 with my new D2, and so far it's been good, but not great.
Some issues I've experienced:
The SD card unmounts from the phone when connecting to the computer via USB. Apparently this is an issue with Windows 7, the computer sees the card as another writeable drive. A four-step solution remounts the card on the phone, but it really shouldn't be necessary.
Web surfing on 3G isn't quite the improvement that I expected over my Omnia, particularly when watching embedded videos such as on ESPN, but it is still a phone after all. Surfing via wireless network is excellent.
DNLA issues: I began playing with this feature yesterday with mixed results. I managed to get some of my music transferred via DNLA but am unable to maintaiin connection, or figure out what I did correct when there was a connection.
So far I haven't experienced anything worth returning the phone over, but I would have expected a smoother user experience.

Using the device in USB mass storage allows you move files between the device and your PC. If you want to use the SD card on the device while plugged into the pc, change from USB mass storage to charge only.

The problem is, when the usb is first connected the computer takes over the SD card, and when you try to move files the phone says there is no card installed. The workaround is to click the 'safely remove' icon in the service tray on the pc, switch the usb to charge only, then back to mass storage so the phone retakes control of the sd card. It works, but it is unnecessarily over complicated.

I keep mine on charge only and switch it to USB mass storage only when I need to move files.
