Kickback and Soundback suddenly put on my phone without permission

This morning my Charge lit up like a Christmas tree with updates.  At first I thought, Gingerbread at last.  After the updates finished (these two didn't let me stop them, they just updated without me clicking "accept" or anything) I had two new bloatware apps on my phone, Kickback and Soundback.

Does anyone know if we need them?  I haven't tried to delete them yet as possibly I should keep them.  The only option available is uninstall updates, so maybe that will get rid of them if they are only updates.  Kind of a nuisance that bloatware can be produced and easily updated on our phones, but not the software we need to fix the issues.

Go to Settings>Accessibility and you'll see Kickback (KB) and Soundback (SB).  Maybe you should click on them once so we can see what they do.  Or, OTOH un-install 'em.

KB vibrates for touch actions

SB plays tones for touch actions

Yea same here, the wife and I got it on our phones last night. We didn't accept anything for these, they just showed up! Annoying...

I thought the same thing about GB and was thoroughly disappointed.  Oh well, just a nasty little tease.

I don't even like to open this kind of stuff as I've done that before and the program went to the Web and downloaded all the thumbnails, and other junk that I had to manually uninstall to my phone.  Would have been nice to get a choice.  I'll try to uninstall and see what happens.

It appears that I can't uninstall either of those apps.   I think they were there when I got the phone, though I have never turned them on.  When I click on one to look it over, it says "This accessibilty service may be able to collect all the texts you have typed, including personal data, credit card numbers except passwords.  It may also log your user interface interactions.    It comes from the application TalkBack.  I am no genius when it comes to this....does anyone know what this program is about?

Both of these were loaded on the phone prior to getting updated...but now they just got updated. Ehhh...doesn't seem like they are that important.
