Why so few "Kudos"? I see a lot of good posts, answers, and problem solutions being given in this forum, but few "Kudos".
From the help section:
What are Kudos?
Kudos is a new content rating system that lets you vote for the messages you think are the most useful or important.
When you give Kudos to a message, you are offering a thumbs-up for good content and a pat on the back to its author. Your Kudos help to boost the value of certain messages and enhance the reputation of their authors. Giving Kudos is as easy as a single click, but the impact of Kudos ripples across the community.
Why not offer a Kudo to someone who has help you enjoy your Droid-X a little more.

Peer to Peer Help forums such as this tend to have a large transitory user base. In this aspect many do not stick around long enough to understand the rating systems. I have noticed many of my own kudos come from other frequent posters or people who have over 100ish posts. Very seldom does someone with a less than 50 post count provide kudos.

+1, Kudos is a nice way of show appreciation to a users assistance and it also helps to allow users to know that the information the user gave helped with solving the issue. I have seen a number of post that a user ask for a answer and a solution was posted and the thread just stops which usually meant the solution fixed the problem but without acknowledgement it is unsure if it helped at all.
Another nice thing would be when a solution is found and the issue is resolve it would also help for the user to mark post solved.

Thanks for these suggestions. I've created a signature incorporating them. Don't know if it will do any good, but it's worth a try. I've tried to make it pleasant and instructive, but I have a habit of coming across a little too pedantic (had to look that up in the dictionary). Feedback is welcome.

If you think the number people not getting kudos or posts marked as solutions is low here, I invite you take a look AT&T's version of wireless community. It is even worse there. It nowhere near as active as just the Droid section of this forum. I certainly feel much more welcome here than there. Although the reason I frequent their forum is to get the dirt on their service since my phone is being transitioned to AT&T (silly FCC) , so I'm a tad biased.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

To receive more kudos, you must perform a hard reset on your device.
