I do have messages that I want to keep and want to be able to delete the rest of messages in a thread. My first droid was able to lock message. Droid 2 does not give me option to lock message. Anyone have any ideas how I can lock messages? Thanks!

Download handcent sms. It allows you to lock messages as well as lets you assign tones, icons, and background images, per contact.
