Lollipop update?

When will the mini get lollipop? Motorola site says they've released it but the carrier has to finalize it or what have you.

They have not said that you are looking at other devices made by Motorola.

It isn't ready yet. That's a generic message and it wasn't released. They haven't even started the soak test for it that means based on their own schedule it's still in Motorola hands and isn't ready for release.

See Droid Turbo. It is going though the soak test that means the release is soon probably later this month early next month barring anything major like Motorola delaying the release to push to 5.1and needs to go through the process again.

Why should we not believe Motorola about this? Seems everyone in the chain is always quick to pass the buck.
