im on a plan with my parents i do not qualify for an upgrade..my dad is willing to give me his upgrade..my concerns are the right away to go about doing this with ordering the phone online..last time i did this with my mom the phone came in i activated it under her number then switched it over to mine that worked great.
the problem i see this time is with this phone when i order it i have to also change my plan to the unlimited data so if im checking out with an upgrade for my dad that plan change will be on his number..
so now how do i go about doing the switch when i get the phone because for one month i dont want to be charge data on both lines when im only putting data on his line so i could order the phone sorry if this is confusing but can someone please tell me how i should go about doing this smoothly
Interesting question. I don't know. The last phone I got online I had to program the Esid myself so Hmm if they come pre programmed. Also the plan is a problem. I would upgrade over the phone. That way you can talk to someone about it. The online interface doesn't allow for variations. Though then again you might be able to order it and then have all the plan stuff straightened out by customer service.
