I just noticed yesterday that all my pictures (over 500) had been deleted. I did not store them on my SD card. They were stored on my phone storage, which had a lot of free space. I just got off the phone with a Verizon technical rep. He asked if I just updated the phone. I said I yes, because I received an update notice. He said this is probably why my pictures were erased. He said it is a freak incident and unfortunately there is no way of getting my pictures back and that I should store them on my SD card for back-up. Well this info. is too late. I can't believe my pictures are all gone because I updated my phone per their notice. Totally SUCKS! He said for further complaints I should contact HTC. My phone is just over a year old. It's been having issues randomly the past few months. But this is the worst issue, because my pictures are gone for good. I use to like this phone, but not anymore!

You seem to be on the wrong board. This is a board for the Droid Bionic by Motorola.

Your pictures you take are on the Sd Card storage Not the phone I thought i had lost some of my Photos as well but got them back an here's How i got them back. Go to Menu > Settings > Sd & Phone Storage Schroll down to Unmount SD card AN Tap it. It will Unmount the Card As Soon as you Do This Remount the Card Only " And DO NOT >> ERASE THE CARD " Wonce you Touch Remount... Hit the Home button an then go to your Picture Gallery an your Pic's should return.
Read these Post as Well... An as i said Hopefully you get your pictures Back. B33

Yeah...me too -- until I re-read the post, and then went back and editted my response.

That's strange... because, per the thread I'm looking at, my post, falls under Android: Droid Incredible by HTC.

Thanks for the suggestion, I tried it...but did not work for me. My pictures were not set-up to go to the Sd card. I didn't know this until the tech rep. had me go to the camera app/settings/Storage and then click on SD Card. The default is Phone Storage : (
