Recently all my contacts phone numbers disappeared, though "email addresses" and "frequently called" remained. Syncing didn't work.
I passed by a Verizon Store where they tried syncing and copying from backup with no results.
2nd day I went back twice with my previous phone and previous SD card. They couldn't get their machine to read the SD card, saying it wasn't present. Finally someone put the old SD card in the newer phone and the numbers from that phone were on the card.
About 2 wks ago I rec'd msg. that I'd incorrectly removed my SD card, then was unable to save photos etc.That's the only issue I've had with the SD card. Is that connected?
Mgr at Verizon store told me SD cards often go on and off again. I told him I've never had that happen but he insisted it's so. Has anyone else had this problem with the SD card? It seems the lost contact issue isn't uncommon - is there a permanent or stable fix? Somehow it doesn't seem right that I have to use an old SD card in a new phone just to get it to work right.
