Lost text msgs

Went to open Handcent and got a blank screen! All my text messages were gone! Checked factory message program and the same thing! This phone is so dang glitchy!!!!

Check your settings in the stock messaging program. With 2.2 there are limits sets when hit, delete all the messages.

You can try removing the application and re-installing it to see if it will work better without deleting text messages. Keep in mind Verizon Wireless do not support third party apps downloaded from the market.

unfortunately it is happening on the stock messaging system, it is all over the internet  :smileysad:

It is the stock messaging system that is killing the messages, not the third party apps.
