I have lost ALL my text messages numerous times (one moment they are there and the next there gone). Even ones that were locked disappeared, is there a way to get them back? Or am I screwed?
This just happened to me too. I called Verizon customer service, and they claim they have no knowledge of this happening. Yet it seems to be a frequent and long known occurrence about which nothing has been done:

Thanks Verizon. Thanks Google. I had irreplacable stuff (pictures, etc) in my test messages. If they won't fix it at least WARN US so we can download an app to save texts. I didn't know it was necessary until today.
In short, yes, we are screwed. I am so angry and upset right now. I will never buy another droid device again.
