Lots of little things that would make the good Droid X truly great!

I feel like the X is amazing, and I love it. But I also feel like it could be truly awesome with just some minor fixes (that should all be accomplish-able via software updates). I also found that my issues aren't on the READ THIS FIRST list at the Motorola forums, of stuff they're intending to address. So here's my wishlist of stuff to fix for the 2.2 update (though I'm guessing its already too late).
- Fix WiFi issues. Lots of people are having problems staying connected to anything but the most basic "b" routers. Signal lost, connection lost, etc. etc. Can't Moto just make it work? WiFi's pretty common and a lot of us would rather use it while at home or work because its so much faster than the 3G connection.
- Put a mic/voice entry button on the default keyboard in landscape mode. There's nothing more annoying than hitting search while you're driving down the road with the X in the cardock, then instead of being able to hit the mic button to voice search, you have to first hit the back button to close the keyboard, then you can see the mic button, hit it and voice search.
- Fix the issue with the default keyboard putting special characters and number next to the last word typed, even after you hit space. I've tried Swype for a couple days, as well as the SwiftKey Beta, and I can just type better with the default Multi-touch keyboard. It also feels roomier. However, whenever I hit space at the end of a word, then the "?123" button, then a special character, it butts it up against the end of the last word typed, as if I never hit space. Super annoying. See here for proof other people have the issue too.
- Add long-press numbers & characters to the default keyboard. It would be super nice if you could faintly see alternates for each key in the qwerty mode that wold allow you to long-press to get that character/number.
- 3G toggle ability. It would be nice to be able to switch 3G off (say at night) to save battery, but still receive incoming phonecalls in case of emergency.
- Video playback "combing." When playing back videos in the gallery, I often notice "combing" where the edges of a moving object gets all jagged like the edge of a comb. Its quite noticeable in certain instances. Combing is normally associated with interlaced video on a progressive screen. However, I'm seeing it in all videos on the X, including ones that always were progressive. Its like the X is updating odd and even fields like an interlaced monitor or something? Weird and distracting when trying to watch stuff on it.
- 30fps video capture. Why 24fps? Yes I know film is 24fps, but these are no film cameras when it comes to video quality. Squeezing in a few more fps should make a great difference, and put it more on the level with the iPhone 4's video capture.
- HDMI out on YouTube, etc. I can understand that some providers don't want us to have their content on our TV's (think HULU), but let the providers disable that in their individual apps. Don't limit this powerful phone's abilities. I bought it over the iPhone 4, because its not supposed to be a "walled garden." I want freedom.
- If you wont give us an option of whether to install in the first place, at least let us remove Blockbuster, City ID, Media Share, Skype, etc., etc., after the fact. As well as prevent services like FeedReceiverService, NewsRetrievalService, WeatherService, Skype mobile, etc., etc., from starting on boot. Its one thing to load the WeatherService if I have the widget on my homescreen, but why does all this need to load (or even be installed) if I don't use it?
If you agree, add to this thread and let everyone know. Perhaps even list the numbers you would like to see implemented. Also, add any that aren't listed here that you'd like to see.

Please implement 1,2 5, 7,8.................Heck implement them all. I agree this phone was supposed to be uninhibited. And put out a fix to stop Bluetooth from intermittently disconnecting!
