MP4 video not showing on HTC incredible

I tried transfering a couple MP4 videos from my computer to my phone and for some reason I only get the audio.  Is there any way to fix this or play the video along with it?

Your resolutions are too high for android to display the picture. Get a video editing program with android presents and try again. I use Nero, but now days plenty are available.

Thank you.  I have Sony Vegas 9 and have been playing around with that for a good while and nothing worked, but I did finally manage to get one form of it to work for me :smileyhappy:
