Mafia Wars on my 2.2 DInc....

Hello all.

Before I got upgraded to 2.2 (Froyo) I could play Mafia Wars on Facebook just fine. I could do anything on the web just fine for the most part (except those annoying ads, but that's for another time). So I got 2.2, I got the OTA update after that, I've individually tested each and every update to Flash 10.1, tested EVERY browser on the Market and NOTHING will play Mafia Wars on FB other than Opera Mobile (which coincidentally sux for everything else). Why? I thought my phone was "Flash enabled"? Why does Mafia Wars not play? Any one got it working? If so, what settings on which browser?

Personally, I'm **bleep**. My crap-tacular BlackBerry Storm could run Mafia Wars just fine, but my high end Droid with Flash and all the bells and whistles will not.

Sorry for the rant and thanx for any help you can give  ^_^

not sure? i play it just fine (well...a bit slow, but not bad). i use the stock browser and haven't changed any browser settings? this is what i have checked (checkmarked) in my browser settings:

load images

block pop up windows

enable java

open pages in overview

remember passwords

remeber form data

show security warnings

accept cookies

enable location

also....enable plugins is "always on"

Maybe try clearing the cache, history, data, etc???

Hey, thanx for the reply!!

I tried every setting you listed, and even cleared all my saved info. Nothing. Still doesn't work.

And I should clarify, I can do a couple of things in Mafia Wars, but not the most important ones. Clicking on "Jobs", "Fight" or "Properties" across the top does nothing. I can click other options and they work fine. I can send and accept gifts. I just can't do any jobs, fight anyone or collect on my properties. They work fine IF I can get into the menu screens, but the tabs on the top don't work. There was a back door into jobs a while ago, but I can't remember what it was.

Any other ideas anyone?

I apologize for the issues you are experiencing with your device. If you have already attempted to troubleshoot the device via an update the using *228 and a soft reset also known as the battery pull, then I recommend a factory reset. This can be completed via the following steps:

Note When the HBOOT screen appears, release the keys.
