Magic Smoke Live-Wallpaper for DX2

Anyone else notice it doesnt work? First time I tapped it...it was a complete green Screen! No smoke...tried the settings to change the color to see if that would change anything. Changed the color but still no smoke effect. I even set my wallpaper and it was just ONE single color on all pages...NO SMOKE? Very interesting issue I have found...anyone else???

Funny how these forums are made for issues and stating your own opinions on devices, software, hardware, OS and so on but you get belittled and ignored if you say things wrong. (in others opions that is.) These type of sites have become a joke in my opinion...everyone thinks their so much smarter then you and its clear that no one ever gets what they're looking for on here. Bout to just say GIVE ME THAT EARLY TERMINATION FEE and move on to bigger better carriers and manufacturers.

My question was..."does anyone else have this issue?" not, "how do you fix this?" Is this an inappropriate thread on this forum mr. kudo? Obviously I would have to contact motorola...don't worry, not bashing on your beloved Verizon.

personally I didn't see @Wildman "belittling" you ... but rather providing you a suggestion that you might want to check with the developers of the APP.  A simple email to them asking if they know of any issues ...   This forum really isn't meant as a support forum for the 3rd party APPS - but more for supporting each other in the functionality & features of the DROID X itself ... Yea, some people might have your APP installed and might be able to answer your question -- and maybe that will happen ... But if you're upset/angry or in a hurry to get a specific APP addressed, it might serve you FASTER to just email the developers.

And if you knew anything about the Droid X or the Droid X2 you'd know the 'Magic Smoke, Live-wallpaper' is a pre-installed wallpaper on the phone...its NOT a 3rd party app. IT IS AN ISSUE DIRECTLY FROM EITHER THE CARRIER OR MANUFACTURER. Anyone that owns the Droid X or Droid X2 can apply this wallpaper directly from the box...nothing downloaded at all...which was the same case with both DX2's I've owned now.

Dude, your belittling & demanding tone warrants no help whatsoever ... good luck with that in the future. We're just all users here - Verizon makes an appearance from time to time, but this is a USER FORUM & we all just want to help.

 

That wallpaper works fine for me..   I will now go away & ignore all of your future "help requests". Good luck with whatever you decide.

Message to both...no loss over here trust me. If you dont work for either verizon or motorola, your advise would go in one ear and out the other. If your a contributor you should at least know the device you contribute about, if I am correct. Or at least in MY opinon. And wildman, seen plenty of your APP therories to write a book. It's all nonsense and in MY opinion you should not be dubbed, "Top-Kudo" You both actually don't desrve a title whatsoever...that is again, MY opinion. (Which I am fully entitled too.) Looking forward to never read any advice given from either of you. Thanks. :smileyhappy:
