I had my AOL and Yahoo email accounts setup on my Incredible and everything was working fine until I mistakenly set the download options to All. I then of course came up with space limitations. So I went into Settings / Manage Applications / Mail and cleared Data.
I could not get my AOL to authenticate until this morning (for some unknown reason it started working after I registered for this forum). But I still can't get my yahoo account to authenticate even though I know the username and password are correct.
I didn't have this problem when I first setup these emails. Clearing the data has just blown it up. And I don't understand why one would suddenly work and not the other.
I've done the reboot (turned off phone), took out the battery, and sent emails to myself as other discussions have suggested doing. Anyone else have any ideas?
