Major Market Issues Today

I have been having major market issues today, and it's really getting annoying.  This is my first annoying experience with this phone.  It has been about perfect since I got it in May.  It's non-rooted, and factory stock.

I woke up this morning and saw my Incredible got the 2.12 market update overnight.  I went into the market and clicked on the downloaded link to see if any of my apps required updates and I got an internal server error and was told to return to the previous screen.  Tried again, same thing.  Restarted the phone, got back in, same thing.  Doing a Google search on the issue, it seemed like and older issue, and the fix was to clear the data from the market application in the settings menu.  Did that, and it did NOT fix the problem.   I also noticed that the paid apps were no longer listed in my market.  That usually only happens if you are in a country where paid apps can't be listed for currency issues right?  I am in the USA.  Anyways...

Couldn’t' find any other solutions, so I uninstalled the market update and went back to 1.82.  This fixed the problems, but caused another.  Now whenever I downloaded an app, it would finish installing and work just fine, but the downloaded section of the market would still list the app as "installing".   The only way to clear it was to reboot the phone.  But the next time I updated or downloaded an app it would happen again.

Having nothing else to go on, I just decided to do a factory reset.  Got the phone back up, and was back on market 1.82 that comes with 2.2.  Still have the apps getting stuck in the downloading state after they have installed.  Also, apps that install to the SD card, like Angry Birds, install ok, but the downloaded apps section of the market doesn't even show them as installed.  Also, the paid apps are once again missing.  I did a 2nd factory reset, and didn't make any changes at all with the exception of logging into my GMAIL account for the market, the problems are still there.

I know this sounds like I am a stupid user who can't use their phone, but I have had this thing since May, and it has been rock solid.  All this started happening today after I got that 2.1.2 market update.

The Google Services Framework database has been a source of similar problems it looks like for other people in the past, but a factory reset should clear these out and the problem shouldn't still be there after a factory reset.  Unless there is a major Google Market issue going on right now, and I can't find anyone else experiencing the same kind of issues I am.

Update:

While waiting for responses, I installed an app and instead of rebooting to clear the stuck installing state after the app was actually installed, I did a force close on the Market.  Caused that installing state to clear, but now all of the apps listed under donwloaded in the market don't have the word "installed" next to them.  Just the word "Free" like you see browing the app market to install apps.  I have no idea what is going on, but other people seem to complain about the internal server errors I was complaining about, but I can't belive nobody else on Verizon has seen this issue and got on here to report it:

mlemmens did post a message about the internal server error on the Verizon droid app section of the forum as well, so maybe this is Google side related?

OK, my market updated again, but instead of 2.12, I got 2.2.7....all the problems now seem to be fixed....so far at least.

If you have the applications listed under downloads in the Market after a factory reset, you still need to download them again. Market is remembering what you had downloaded before. Try installing one of applications listed again and see if it finishes.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

No Ann, it won't remember what you downloaded before if I do factory reset and format the internal storage as well.

The market is broken right now:

Apps install just fine, they just get stuck listed in the installing state in the downloads sectin of the market.  Clearing the cache fixes that, but then the app is not listed as "installed" in the market, even though the app is and functioning correctly.
