I have no problems with any applications, signal, talk, and so forth.
My HTC Droid Incredible is working super w/ having the 2.2 Update.
Why are majority having issues w/ their device and not I? Explain to me

Id imagine because not every Incredible owner would have one or the other ...many owners have no issues, but WAY more are having issues based on what I am seeing. Consider yourself fortunate because the issues we are experiencing requires tons of maintenance to the phone (battery pulls, wipe cleans, uninstalls/reinstalls)
I have a friend in Verizon customer service and since the biggest push of the software was done on 08/31/2010 ...there are at least 50 calls in the queue at all times ...that should tell you right there how bad of a launch this was.
So yeah, consider yourself fortunate

it's not your imagination. for 99% of users, it will run better. as with anything, a small % will have problems. that small % comes here to see if they can fix them, or just warn others of their misfortune (or just gripe in general...lol). it's jst like a bad restaurant. you are MUCH more likely to tell the world about an awful experience, then to go online and post every time it was pleasant. it should be twice as fast browsing and smother in general. i do feel bad for those with issues. i have none (except that the battery DOES take longer to charge...i can live with that).

Two Incredibles in our family, both updated this week. No issues whatsoever. Improved battery life on mine, so much so that I've removed the Seidio extended battery and returned to stock to see how far I can stretch it.

I love it.
For weeks and weeks so many people have done nothing but complain that they weren't getting their update, because I am assuming that with 2.1 their phones were just bricks so they had to have 2.2.
So Verizon sends out the update and now everyone is complaining about that and the problems they are having with it.
I had 2.1 when I got my phone and I guess I was one of the lucky few whose phone worked with it and didn't require the 2.2 update like so many other people (sarcasm). Phone worked great and yesterday they sent me a 2.2 and it still works great.
Great Friday entertainment.

I backed up my data then did a hard reset.
Big difference. This is the performance i expected from Froyo. Now the next waiting game starts for Gingerbread

jsiudon....nothin to joke about. you're the average smart phone user. some of us are a wat too into our phone. you are what i've tried to point out to others on this forum. most people have no idea they were waiting for an update and when they get it they have no idea what it is. it just works better (or not) and they go about their day. don't know why you can't sync with the pc? you should post a new thread with that as the title and you will prolly get some help or suggestions.
