I was just wondering if there was a way that I could make my ringtone into a custom ringtone like an mp3 song, I couldnt figure it out. If there is please hit me up and explain what I need to do, thanks.

Download the free app from the market called RingDroid. With that you can make your own ringtones. You can get a song that is already in yoru phone and make it into a ringtone.
For a novice maybe it's easier to use an online tool to make ringtones
also recently I came across an interesting site that allows to make ringtones from youtube videos
