I downloaded and installed 3 ringtones on my Droid from the Verizon store. These were placed in the phone storage and NOT on the SD card. Unfortunately, the names on the ringtones became all numerics instead of a recognizable name. Long-press on the ringtone does not bring up any menu dialog to rename or even to delete it. Others have asked this question before w/o any solution being posted. I asked Verizon technical support how I might deal with this, but they offered no ideas. Is there a way to make the phone storage visible so that the ringtone folder can be accessed from a PC. The only storage that can be viewed from the PC is that which is on the SD card.
I tried again to download the ringtones and again got the same numeric results (and now I have multiple copies of those ringtones in the phone storage).
Thanks

A followup to my previous post. I launched "Manage Applications" from the setting menu and turned off the filters in order to see what applications existed besides those that had been download. I see that there is an application entitled "DRM Protected Storage". I'm becoming convinced that the errant downloaded ringtones are in this data area as they are DRM protected to the individual phone. I would like to find a program that will explore the index in this area before I just try to clear it.
Thanks
