Market Not Working & Wifi??

I can not open my Andriod Market!! I will press the app, the screen turns white for like 1 second and then back to the normal screen. It has been like this for like a month??? 

And also, I just set up my wifi on my computer, but I just got on the internet on my phone and the 3G symbol still flashed? 

 

Any ideas/help??

Thank you for sharing your experience with the community as I am eager to assist you. May I ask what software version are you running on your device? Historically, a factory reset has resolve this issue. Have you tried this on your device? If not, here are the steps in the link below.

As always, I recommend that you verify that all of your information is backed up, using your Gmail account or backup assistant for contacts. Once the reset completes, you device will need to be reactivated. The device will walk you through a brief tutorial on how to do so. After you have setup your device, try to access the Market to ensure that it is operational. The factory reset will also help with the wifi functionality as well. Once you have completed the steps below, please post your findings and let us know if you need any further assistance.
