How do I get Market to load? WHen I touch the icon, the screen changes and the little circular dynamic loading icon runs...forever. NOthing else happens. (This also occurs with attempts to acquire information).
Sometimes the market just takes a long time to load. Other factors can also affect it's performance like a weak signal or other things running at the same time, or sometimes google is doing something with their servers and it just lags. If you think that it's actually not working, go to your homescreen and press menu>settings>applications>manage applications, select the "all" tab at the top of the screen, scroll down to market, and select "clear data". Then reboot your phone. Open the market back up and sign back in. This won't fix the lag if that's the only problem however, if it's not loading for some other reason, you should be good. Also remember, you can now go to the Market Online: https://market.android.com/ and push apps to your phone from there.
Access to the Android Market requires a Gmail account. If you do not have a Gmail account synced to the phone you will not be able to access the Android Market.
If you do have a Gmail account on your phone and are still unable to access the Android Market please try rebooting the phone by removing the battery for a few seconds.
