I must have tried about a dzn. & a 1/2 times today starting @ about (0830) this morn., to dnld 2.2, w/ no luck. Kept getting error message (Check for update was not avail. @ this time, try again later). Then I rmbrd. something I had read about turning on wi-fi, it would help & make it faster, so I did. Don't know if that was the trick but, as soon as I did, I was able to dnld update. It took about (5-10) mins. Hope this helps, good luck.

I was wondering if one could download it through WiFi or not..... you have confirmed it was possible.
hopefully you had a good upgrade and that your phone is working well.
So far, so good. Just have to figure out contact sorting again. Had figured out a way to sort them by last / first, thru gmail. Now they're back to first / first after update. If that's my only issue, compared to what I'm seeing posted I'm doing ok.
