Just an observation I am curious about. When I turn off the phone and turn it back on, the "Available Memory" as shown in the Task Manager is around 250M (MB, I presume). Then, I kill all of the selected apps. Then over time, say 30-60 min., the "Available Memory" is dwindled down to around 100M and usually stays there for the rest of the time. Keep it mind that I am not running any apps or doing anything with my phone over that time period. I have looked at the "Running Services" under Settings/Applications/Running Services and there doesn't seem to be anything but system apps running.
I am just curious if anyone else has noticed this?
It's not really a problem, just an observation that I was wondering about.
