I have the Moto Droid & since the new 2.2 updt I no longer have the option to open more than 1 window in my browser. I use the stock browser for the phone. I can no longer open up multiple windows & if I click a link I'll get a msg that I've reached the max amount of windows ( which is now 1). Does anyone know of a setting that I might need to change??? Or if there is an app that would work?? Or is using a new browser the best option. Thanks
download dolphin browser it works great I think you can have like 7 open tabs.try it I think you will like it.
This will not help however mine works just fine. I have at least 4 open at once with stock browser, Droid 1 FRG22D
It seems as if you are having a software problem with your new device. A factory reset to remove any bad settings should resolve this. The instructions to do this are listed below:
To reset your phone to factory settings and erase all the data on your phone,
touch Menu
> Settings
> Privacy
> Factory data reset
> Reset phone.
Warning: All data on your phone will be deleted.(Nothing on your memory card is deleted.)
