Just got this phone and it is turning itself off for no reason that i can see - it happens randomly while I'm trying to email or update contacts, look at market, etc. Should I just return it? Does anyone else have this problem? I think it could be a great phone, but it's driving me nuts.

yes, you should return the phone. but make sure the battery is in all the way. not that that is a common fix for your situation but who knows?
and please, if it happens again, don't blame the Droid. it might be possible that the store you received it from may have a bad batch of Droids. just ask if they could get one from another store (if it is Verizon store or Best Buy or where ever you got it)
