I have 3 identical "messaging" icons on my home screen. Does anyone know how to delete an icon? Motorola Droid

Put your finger on it for couple seconds and then you will see the menu bar at the bottom turn into a red trash can.  Drag it down to that trash can and let go.  It will then dissappear.  Do this for any icon you do not want on your home screen.
