Multiple emails, calendars and contacts on Gmail and Google Apps

I use Gmail for personal email, calendar and contact.  My work uses Google Apps (paid enterprise Google Apps) for email, calendar and contact.  I was able to add multiple Google emails by going into Settings then Accounts & Sync to add it.  I just toggle between my personal and work emails on the screen.

I'd like to do the same with my calendars and contacts but can't figure out how to do it.  I did manage a few work arounds by giving permission to my work and personal calendars to edit & manage by adding my personal calendar to my work calendar.  (From my computer, entered  my personal email address in the add "other calendar". ) The catch is that when I add an event in one calendar, it shows up in the other automatically.   My work around was to create a bookmark to view my work calendar and my work contacts by logging in to calendar.google.com and mail.google.com.

QUESTION:

How can I view both my personal and work Google calendars and contacts and keep them separate?  Is this possible without having to purchase an app?

Thanks for your help!

Monty3,

I think this can be done. The first step would be to look under "Accounts and Sync" in the settings. Once there, you should see both (or all) of the accounts you entered on the phone. If you click on one, it will show the individual services available for each account with check boxes next to them for selection. Google services usually include email, contacts, and calendar by default but they're not always checked. Make sure yours are.

Once synced, the accounts should show up in the desired programs, in this case People and Calendar. With People open, press the menu key and look for "view" or "display" options. It should show all the accounts that have contacts synced (Facebook, Yahoo, etc) so just ensure that both your Google accounts are there and have every group checked. It's a similar process with Calendar, but you will go to "more" after pressing menu then Calendars, where you should see a similar stack for accounts.

I do not use Google corporate apps but i hope this helps.

I also do not use multiple Gmail accounts, but the steps that CrimsonGuard suggested are exactly what I would have suggested.  If this works, mark his post as solved so others can find the solution if needed.
