I had to get a new HTC Incredible due to the reboot loop.  How do I recover my apps from the android market.

Also my husband has a backup restore on his motorola Droid.  Do I have that feature anywhere???

I am a big fan of using AppBrain.  It will help you install each app individually.

Also there are app backup apps, just search them in market or appbrain.

The AppBrain app is great! Unfortunately if you didn't have that app installed before the broken phone and you didn't create an account, backup apps, so you be out of luck. Sorry....

You can go to the market and go to downloads to redownload any paid apps.  Free apps will have to just be search and redownload.  Your husband either has an app to do that or he has Rooted. Still need an app but there are much better ones available.

I could tell you but then I would have to kill you or at least your warranty. Currently there is no way to just back up your whole system without Rooting.

I back up my SD Card and Phone storage on my computer.  I also have a backup copy of my wife's SD card for her blackberry on my computer and my internal phone storage.  I ran across an app that allowed cloud storage of your system but I can't for the life of me remember what it is and I doubt it would store your system files.

Nail on the head.... you can't backup without the void problem. That appbrain is nice for apps, and a card backup once in a while could be handy, but if you want the complete backup then take the plunge. If you know what I'm saying...

HTC Sync 3 is out there (maybe not officially)

Also, you can backup everything in different places. Lookout backs some data up.
