I made my own ringtone that is a mp3 file.  It worked when I had a iPhone.  Is there a way I can get my ringtone into my new phone?  Thanks

Or if you want to make things easier just dump all your mp3's (space required) on to the SD card making a generic folder named "Music" or something like that. Then download the app called RingDroid. Load app, select your fav mp3, crop the song to rintone size, save the file, and it automatically dumps it in the correct folder for rintones.

yes, you can save it to your computer..... then put it in media file on sd card and then in folder called ringtones

Thank you for the reply.  I just got the phone today so not too sure what you mean.  I use a iMac.  If I plug the phone into a USB port will the SD card show?  If that is the case I assume I will see something called Media File and will then be able to make a folder.  I will try it and let you know.  I appreciate your reply.

Try to change the ringtone.......it should be an option if you put it in the correct folder.

When I opened the SD card all I saw was a folder called MP3 and when I opened it the other ringtones seemed to be there.  I put my ringtone in there in a folder called My Ringtone.  I didn't see a folder called ringtones.  Anyway my ringtone is there.

SDCard>media>audio>ringtones

that should be the path.  I forgot Audio.

if you put it in there, the phone will recpgnize it.
