Shut the phone off or if you can pull the Battery and then Press the Power button with the Battery out for 20 to 30 sec. then re-install the battery power it up.!  see if the issue vanishes if it does your good to go.. if not let me know we'll try something else  b33

What device is it, if B's option did not work, try pressing emergency, the dial *#83786633 (dont press send) then press the home key, then OTA

I have a protector on my phone and don't know how to get it off.  Concerned I'll ruin it.  The numbers given to put into the blinking blank don't work. 

Can the battery be taken out w/o removing the protective cover.
