My phone won't stay connected to wifi

My phone started dropping my wifi. It shows the name of it but says not in range, I'm setting in front of it also. I ve tried to  "forget" connection, and reinstall. It'll show it , act as if its going to connect and drops it again. its been doing this about a week now. had the phone a year and a half now.no problem before

We want you to connect to WiFi without a problem. Let's figure this out together. What kind of phone do you have? What happens when you power your phone off and on? Does it connect to WiFi? Did you try resetting your router to see if it will stay connected? Please advise or complete the steps if you have not already completed them. We are here to help.
