My phone won't...?

Whenever i plug an auxiliary cable in to my phone only one side of the speakers or headphones work.. & my phone won't let me do anything but charge when i plug my phone into a usb port.. what is the problem?

To switch what you do when you plug in the USB cable

MENU>SETTINGS>CONNECT TO PC>.  Make sure. ASK ME is checked.

As for using ear buds, if I listen live, I am fine. But any recorded broadcasts, I only have audio in one bud.... Go figure

Ask me is on, it just started happening a few days ago when i was in my car.. maybe it's the ports that are messed up

Try pulling the battery for a bit. Also try placing the phone in Safe Mode and see if it works. If it works in safe mode, it is an app conflict

Is the phone still giving you the same problem with the AUX cable? Does it act the same way with a different AUX cable?
