My Droid x developed lines on its screens. They just appeared and continue on every screen when you scroll through. (As if burnt on) Any ideas?
Same thing just happened to me today. I dropped the phone on the driveway. I've dropped it before with no adverse results. But this time I've got a few thin black lines across the screen that stay there all the time. Anybody know if this will perhaps go away over time, get worse, or whether there's anything I can do to fix it?
how many drops do you think it should be tested for, before failure?
electronics don't like water or to be dropped, be careful what you say to the insurance company.
Could be a row of pixels that went out possibly due to either a mechanical or software error. If you are still under warranty (1 year from purchase) or have the extended warranty plan from Verizon, you can call tech support and see if they will replace if for you.
