Just got a brand new Droid 2 today. The middle of my touch screen is not working properly. Perfect example, on the dialer, the buttons 4,5 and 6 will automatically hit 7,8 and 9. If I move my finger up a bit and try to hit the top of 4 5 ot 6, then it'll hit 1 2 and 3. This happens on every screen, wrong icons or buttons will be hit instead of the ones I want. I do not have a screen protector on it. I have already updated all software. I looked around online and from what I can tell theres no way to change the touch settings on this. Any ideas, or do I just have bad sensors?
My Droid 2 Global just started to do that, only my phone is a year old. Funny how I haven't had any problems until the day after the warranty is up.
Anyway my home key is not responsive as well as the screen leading up in a column from the home key.
Haven't dropped it or anything like that.
I should note that the home key works occasionally - generally when in the applications menu screen, but almost never when running an app.
I also removed all downloaded apps in safe mode - that didn't help anything.
