Have had my DROID bout 3 days. Have lots of texting, so I am used to it.
My tasks bar shows I have a text message. I drag it down and it shows I have a text from Robert.
I look at the text and then delete it.
The next time I get a text from anyone, the task bar shows I have two messages. When I drag down, it shows the new text and the same old one I deleted from Robert.
I have tried power down and power up.
I took the battery out and replaced it after 30 seconds.
I cannot get the one text to delete!
This may be a long shot, but try downloading the app called Handcent SMS or Chomp SMS. Try deleting the text from there. If you delete it successfully then you can uninstall the app.
