Migrating to Droid X from WinMobile HTC TouchPro 2. On the TP2, I could talk and talk and talk (teleconference or personal). On the Droid X, which I've had since December 5th, I lose voice communication to the other party shortly after the 2-minute mark. Is this normal? (Thanks in advance)
New phone, software is version Android 2.2/BP_C_01.09.07P/2.6.32.9, in case that makes a difference. Phone is not rooted.

What is your in-call phone signal? Also, when you hold it up to your ear does the screen turn off? If it's not turning off there is a chance your cheek or something is touching the end call button.

In call signal is strong (all bars) and screen is turning off while I'm in call. What happens is that the other party can no longer hear me after about 2.5 minutes of talking. This happened twice yesterday (Monday 12/6) and 3 times so far today (12/7). Phone calls start out fine, I don't seem to drop the call, just my audio portion - I can hear the other party just fine but they can't hear me.

Try a battery pull reset, if this doesn't help you could have a faulty device.

Sounds like it may be the phone, but I have to admit, I've ended more calls than I can count on the X with my cheek. That "end call" icon lines up perfectly....

Battery pull didn't change things but using the reset to factory seems to have fixed the problem. If it starts up again, I'll go into a store and have it checked out.
