I got a new droid today - am a heavy gmail user (firefox) have a lot of questions that are not answwered with the minimal documents that can with the droid. My daughhter sent it to me.
From some siple things to what I think is more complicated - where do I find out whats what !!
I have phone # on ATT phone, contacts and memos in a palm pda (version 4.1) PALM DESKTOP which I like and use the memos quite a lot. The seach function is the best I found.
Anyone have any ideas how to get everything together in a productive way?
Initially I was taken back when I had to scroll thru 700 contacts d/l from gmail. Since I mainly use the chat search in gmail to find / send emails I had no idea that there were so many contacts in this account.
I had already maxed out the 7-8 gig of email - quite a few newsgroups - so I wonder how people hndle that .
Can you delete everything and use another gmail account to be the one with good contacts?
