I just received my Droid today and I can't even get it to turn on. The Motorola logo will show, then it will start to load the word "droid" but then stops when it's almost complete. I've tried leaving it and charging it for a couple hours and also removing the battery. Did I get a lemon on the first day? Anyone else have similar problems? I am going to call Verizon support when I get off work in a couple hours, I just figured I would see if anyone here has some insight.

Do a battery pull and try to restart it with the charger on and off. After that if you get the same problem, do an immediate return.
