New MMS alert but no message in inbox

I downloaded the Glide app and was sent a confirmation number to my MMS. I received the notification of the message and it shows I have a new message, but when I go to my inbox there is nothing there. I continue to try to clear the data from the MMS settings, but I keep receiving the new message notification and my MMS button continues to show a new message. How do I get rid of that message and discontinue the icon from showing a new message? Hope this all makes sense. HELP!!!
