No 3G indicator and no internet access

I have a droid x that is missing the 3G signal indicator and will not access the net.  Been through 2 hours with customer care center but no luck in fixing.  Has anyone seen this problem or know how to fix it?

Did they have you try a * 228 to Update your PRL Code you might try that. Or Pulling the Battery and while it's out hold in on the power button for 20 sec. And one other thing you try, to get your internet access if have it is by using Wi-Fi  I'v had to use my Wi-Fi on occasion when my Droid X wouldn't connect to the Network.. Give those Suggestions a Try Hopefully they'll work for ya if not you might Go by your Local Corporate Store and see what they'd Suggest.. Good Luck b33
