I would like to get the OTA update, but when I check for updates I get the message, "Check for update is not available at this time." This has been happening since yesterday. I am in a 3G area and have tried it with wi-fi on and off. Is this a system overload issue or is there something else I need to do?
I followed these instructions: http://support.verizonwireless.com/pdf/system_update/droid_bionic_instructions.pdf

This happens sometimes. I would do the the following:
1. Do an extended battery pull - for a minute or more. If that doesn't work,
2. Do a full reset of your phone. You will need to reinstall your apps afterwards. If that doesn't work,
3. Have Verizon send a replacement.

Thanks. Unfortunately I had to do a full reset. The phone was needing one anyway (to correct Facebook problems).
