I received my "incredible" phone this week with a bad battery with none in stock at the store. I am concerned with the cheap plastic backing. I have until the 18th to decide if I want to keep my non-working phone. Very disappointing so far.
They seding you a new battery? Or you have to go get it? They sell cases at the same store... The cover provided is fine..
You could always get a cover case for the phone to protect that part of the phone.
basiltbs.....i've had mine for over a month. i was a bit concerned about the thin plastic back as well. however, i change my battery every morning (ordered 2 extras with an external charger on ebay for $12, so i don't have to worry about pluggin in the phone ever) and that thin plastic backing has held up great so far. i figure i've taken it off about 20-25 times.
