Notification Sound Personalization

I just received my Droid Incredible 2 a few days ago and am loving it so far. There's just a few things I haven't quite figured out yet.

1. How do I go about in setting my own personal ringtones for notification sounds? Right now all that shows up is the preinstalled tones, but I would like to set my own songs that have been saved on the phone from multimedia text attachments.

2. How do I control how often my widgets update (like e-mail, weather, etc.)? I thought that maybe having them update less times a day would conserve battery.

3. Is there an app I can download to get my phone to vibrate when idle, not just flash the LED light?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again!

1. This has to be done via your Music app. Go into your music app, find the song you want, select Menu, and then select Set As Notification.

3. You mean vibrate when you receive a notification? This should be under settings, and Sound.

Hi. Regarding no. 2, tap each widget or app to open, then tap the menu key to find settings. You should see an option to change update/sync schedule. This should help your battery life a bit. Enjoy!
