OMG!my pictures are disappearing from my Droid HTC

I realized that my pictures are missing from my droid. I am heart broken because they are my toddlers pictures. How can this happen? Please help

Rob, those troubleshooting steps are just that, troubleshooting steps. They do absolutely nothing towards fixing the issue. There seem to be at least a handfull here, as well as other message boards that seem to have this issue. We are looking for a solution rather than a series of steps to prove that there is in fact an issue with the HTC gallery.

Original poster- download a file manager as well as thrid pardy viewers. The files are all still there, they just cannot be seen with the standard gallery. Using a file manager you can view & change their locations. Not a fix but it's a way to work with them at least.

That does not help. Many of us here have had the same problems yet Verizon refuses to get to the problem of why pictures and videos are being deleted. Also I went in the store and they HAD NO CLUE WHAT TO SAY! I walked away with no answers.

I am so upset off this has happened. Especially since this droid can hold like 8 gigabytes of info. MY PICTURES ARE GONE.
