Opening a WPS file on Droid X

Hi: Does anyone know of a way to view a WPS file (a works document)  attachment to an e-mail on the Droid X. Is there an app that converts the WPS file to a DOC file or other viewable file that can be done using the phone, not converting on a computer first. Doc files can be viewed, WPS files cannot be viewed. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

I haven't tried it as I don't have a works file. But have you tried the "Quickoffice" APP ?

The quickoffice app is on the phone and I think that is what opens the DOC file but will not open a WPS file. It is like people that have a Works document and some older microsoft office or word programs have trouble with the works files. Unfortunately many lower priced computers especially laptops come with the woks program and not word so I get a lot of WPS attachments that I can't view from my phone. Thanks for trying to help. Any other suggestions are appreciated.
