How do you enter your name where it says "this phone belons to" on the opening screen of Droid X? Even guy at Verizon did not know.
The only time I have seen that text line on an Android phone has been when the user had an antivirus app installed. The one that I know is by AVG-Droidsecurity

That is correct, that isnt a default feature that usually is added with another app... If you have a antivirus app installed I would check the setting for that there.
Or, from the market, you can download an apps called "banner." It's free and a pretty good apps. I have a banner giving my home phone, just incase, by some stupid act on my part, I lose the phone and some honestly honest person finds it.
