Photos disappearing after reset.

So anyone who has the HTC Incredible knows that in order to get this storage issue away you have to do a reset. So I had a lady from Verizon walk me through it on 12/22. We took out the SD card so we did not reset the card. After the reset, I checked my gallery and all the photos were there. I took pictures with it afterwards and they were all in the gallery with the ones from a year ago. I noticed this morning that they were all gone besides the ones that I had taken last night (12/24). When I plugged in my phone into my computer they were all there except the ones that I took from 12/24-25 were replacing the older ones. Is there a way to change the file names or is there a way to get them to show back up in the gallery?

Now after posting this it is slowly adding the pictures back into the gallery.
