I am trying to import my photos from my old sm card to the phone, then put in my new sm card.  But I can get them to save to the phone.

well this may take a little more time but this is the way i did it,

take out your old sm card, make a folder on home putter,

put your old sm card in your putter, drag pic's to your new

folder you just made, put your new sm card in the phone,

take a pic of any thing, take new sm card out of phone

put in home putter, drag and drop old pic's from putter

to new card, put new card back in phone, reboot phone

the end.all pic's will be in your new sm card.

I would copy the photos from the old card to a folder on your computer. Either connect the Droid Incredible to the computer in mass storage mode or shut the phone off and take the sd card out and use it in a card reader. Then on the sd card for the incredible create a folder called pictures or however you like to organize your files. Copy the pictures from the folder where you put the old phone's pics to this new folder. When done disconnect the phone or sd card from the computer properly. If the phone connected method was used, the will prepare the card for use. If sd card reader method was used, place the card back in the phone and turn on the phone. Now when you go to your gallery or photo albums whatever that is called on the Incredible it will recognize the folder you created. It will also allow some organization so you know which photos you took with the phone and which came from another source.

The instructions for connecting the phone to the computer can be found in the online manual either on Verizon's or HTC's website.
